Woodland Shores, Lee's Summit, MO
Woodland Shores overlooks the beautiful Prairie Lee Lake in eastern Lees Summit, MO off Blackwell Road, just south of Colbern Road. This community has a population of 200 and is built up around the 150 acre public lake named Prairie Lee Lake and is within the Lee’s Summit School District. Each home is custom built by premier builders. Prairie Lee Lake dates back to the 1930’s but Woodland Shores community that surrounds the lake was developed in the early 2000’s. Woodland Shores boasts exquisite landscaping and maintains a serene, natural setting. Very close to Woodland Shores is Legacy Park and a newer fitness and recreation center ran by Lee’s Summit Parks and Recreation. Prairie Lee Lake is best enjoyed while boating, sailing, canoeing, fishing, skiing, or jet skiing. This is a public lake so open to all but on most occasions you will only experience moderate use of the lake.Lots and Docks
Owning a home in Woodland Shores gives the opportunity for pontoon rentals or use of a private dock. Lakefront homes have additional docks, although, very few of those are available.
